PATMate is an on-device portable appliance testing decision aid. This policy describes the current pre-release app behavior.
The current app evaluates the readings entered in the current session. It does not send test readings, appliance details, client details, site details, or photos to a server operated by us. It has no account system, customer database, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking SDK. The current build does not generate or upload a certificate or register.
The app may keep coarse local counters for up to 90 UTC calendar days: app opens, evaluations, certificate-share attempts, completed share handoffs, and local usage exports. These counters contain no test readings, appliance identifiers, client details, site details, contact details, or device identifier. They stay in local storage and are not transmitted to us. The Export local usage action creates a JSONL file only when you request it.
When you choose Share result, the operating system or browser share service receives the result text you chose to share. The current text contains only the pass/fail outcome, a decision-aid notice, and an attribution link; it does not include the readings. If you copy the text instead, it is placed on your device clipboard. The recipient and any messaging service you use handle that copy under their own policies.
Opening this policy, the terms, or support pages sends a normal page request to Cloudflare Pages, which hosts these documents. That website traffic is handled under the host provider's policies. PATMate does not receive the request or attach it to a user profile.
Clear PATMate's app or browser data to remove its local counters. There is no account or remote copy for us to delete in the current build. Product support notes are available on the support page; the public store listing will carry the supported contact route when the app is released.
We will update this page before adding a server, account, remote analytics, or a new data flow.
